Ask CRAFT: Kids’ Warm Snuggler

November 4, 2013 By admin

This week’s Ask CRAFT column addresses a question from Liz Allen, whose 3.5 year-old autistic son craves warm skin contact with her. To wean him from this need and help during bedtime and in the car, I show you how to make a warming pack filled with rice (to be microwaved), with a pouch inside to tuck a chemical heating pack when away from home.

For Suede, check out Tandy’s Leather (dunno the website). Been using them for other projects around the theater, and the nice part is that they do bulk buy and have different grade prices for quality grades :)

I noticed that too. I at first thought I had my headphones plugged in laying on the ground or something because it was slightly muted but only coming from one side.

Daddy likes warm snuggles , too , Becky.
      COME to ButtHead.

I make my warm packs using a large can of nacho cheese, a big spoon, a ziplock baggie, and a microwave oven.
