Popeye & his puddytat bed

I made sock babies for Popeye to snuggle with since he has no siblings. They are stuffed with rice and I heat them for 45 seconds so he can sleep on them after each tube feeding. I pile all of the puddytats in a corner to mimick the litter and he seems to be happy with the arrangement. He looks like he has a bachelor pad in his nylon crate! LOL For now we are calling the sock babies “puddytats” for lack of a better name since my other Pug “Aunt Hootie” thinks they are toy kittens. Maybe I will make a rice bag chair for him. For additional warmth, Since the puddytats coool off after thirty minutes, I have a heating pad under half the crate on low. It is 75 degrees here but he seems to still want warmth.
